Tewkesbeary of Windsor

Goes to Wales

Hey, Luke, are you ready for another story about my travels with Nana & Papi? This time I rode a big bus to visit the country of Wales. Do you see me on the bus seat?

Wales is a country (I'm not talking about big fish -- those are whales!) The people talk and write a funny language called Welsh and we couldn't understand what they were saying. Wales is a beautiful place. There are mountains with snow and lots of sheep. Do you see the sheep eating the grass?

Nana told me that you have a little sister named Claire. Nana thought that Claire might like to have a woolly lamb. I looked and looked until I found just the right one. "Come on, woolly lamb. Come and be my friend." Here she comes running!

I asked Woolly Lamb if she would like to be my friend and travel with me, Nana, & Papi. She said "yes!" Here's Woolly Lamb with me & Nana.

Woolly Lamb said, "I want to go meet Luke & Claire." I said, "We will but you have to be patient. First we have more places to visit." We went to see a big castle on the water.

Woolly Lamb was tired from climbing the stairs in the castle tower, so she took a nap in Nana's bag. It was fun to climb up to the top of the tower and look at the city, the water, and the boats.

Next we went to see the smallest house in all of Great Britain. Papi was too tall to stand by the door, but it was just the right size for Nana and me.

Pretty soon I was very hungry, so Nana, Papi, and Grandpa Jim took me to eat fish & chips.

Do you see me in the window? Peek-a-boo!

It's time to get back on the bus to go to Oxford. I will tell you another story later after I wake up from my nap. When you are ready for another story, just click on my hat.
